Paris Tea Favorites

As I continue to get over this Paris cold I am on the tea binge back at home I decided to share my favorite Paris teas. As a child I never liked tea or the idea of it. My Mom used to only have lipton tea in the house and if you have ever had it I don’t know if you would be a big tea drinker either.

Since moving to Paris in 2013, I started trying teas and it turns out I really like them. As I travel around Europe I started a tradition of picking up new teas wherever I go. I have a whole collection of them at home and use them for different reasons. A few I don’t think are available in the States but you can visit the shops in Paris.

Kusmi Tea is great! I have a few favorites from here. I love the grapefruit detox tea. For summer especially it is great over ice. But also refreshing hot too. They have a few shops in the US now and I know there is a Kusmi in the Plaza hotel in NYC. But you can buy them online as well.

Other Kusmi Favorites include: The Aquarosa Tea (perfect for Summer) Jasmine Green Tea, and the original detox

Mariage FrĆØres – There are several locations in Paris and I know in Chicago you can pick up Marriage FrĆØres at Posh Chicago. They have a whole collection available.

Palais des ThĆ©s– There is one right in the Marais on Vieille De Temple but there are a total of 7 locations in Paris. I love the Vanilla Roobis with almond milk especially when I am sick. There is also a special one for my favorite hotel Grand HĆ“tel du Palais Royal but they only serve it at the hotel. I am waiting until they have it for sale.

Dammann FrĆØres Tea– There is a shop right in Place de Vosges that I visit. I have a few flavors from them including the summer fruit infusion, Coquelicot, and the Jasmine. This is a tea heaven and they really help you find ones that you will like based on your palate.

I am off to NYC tomorrow for more of Paris Meets NYC. If you have been following along I did a whole list of NYC spots with a Paris vibe. Restaurants, CafƩs, Bakeries and shops. I will be adding to the list tomorrow.

    • Thank you Laurie! It is alive with baseball fever! We are all very excited here. I can’t believe I will miss some of the games while I am in NYC!

Let me know if you get to try any of the teas! I would love to know what you think šŸ™‚

      • I will contact you if I try the teas. I also wanted to mention a couple of French perfumes I really love! I know that you like Caudalie products. I love my perfume The Des Vignes by Caudalie. I’m not sure where to get it though since the boutique I bought it from in Exeter, NH is closed. I need to start my search so I will use the links you provided. Also, my other favorite French perfume is by Creed called Iris Tubereuse. It’s so gorgeous! My husband loves Creed cologne (our favorites are Aventus and Himalayan) so we went to the store in Saint Germaine. It’s a beautiful store you should visit. The employees are very nice too. We spent a lot of time there. Hope you’re enjoying NYC!

        • Thank you, Laurie! I would love your roundup of French Perfumes. I am trying to come up with a list for the holiday’s gift giving guide that would include some French inspired perfumes. The one I love from Penhaligans is discontinued so I have found a few Diptyque ones I am loving lately.

NYC has been lovely!! Thank you! xo
