This weekend started off with a rainy Saturday in Chicago. I met my friend Kat for a croissant and we explored a few Antique Shops I discovered this week. I will be adding them all to the Paris Meets Chicago Guide that will be coming out soon. If you have any favorite French Inspired Parisian Spots to recommend feel free to comment below or email me.

I added a few new Francophile Gift Ideas to the Shop including:

These Bonjour Notecards are always a great Hostess Gift or Stocking Stuffer

Things I am wearing on Repeat:

It is officially Boot Season in Chicago so I have been wearing my Blondo Ankle Boots and I also love the knee high version which is on SALE (both are Waterproof)

I have always been a little hesitant to wear bright lipstick but I love the Paris trend of Red so I am branching out a bit. I wore this one last night (Poppy) and the Sisley Twists make color a lot more approachable.

I watched the Movie, A Good Year on the way home from Paris and it was just as good as the first time. It takes place in the South of France the cinematography is stunning. I highly recommend grabbing a glass of wine and watching on an evening.

  1. I love A Good Year! I watched in on a plane once and on the way back from a my Copenhagen and Faroe Islands trip this past June, I recommended it to my 70+ year old solo traveling (isn’t that awesome!) seatmate and she loved it as well and thanked me for the recommendation. I might have to watch it again tonight, it is such a lovely story.

    • Sonya,

It is a lovely story to watch time and time again. I think you will like watching it on a bigger screen that isn’t on a plane. Pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy!
