Paris Diaries: London Bound

There is so much that I want to fill you in on but as I type this it is almost midnight. It has been a full day! I hosted a picnic with my friends at Fat Tire today. If I could tell you how I felt biking across the champs de mars in my dress this morning gazing up at the Eiffel tower as we passed. There was the hugest grin on my face ALL day. We picked up picnic essentials on Rue Cler where we also ran into the future president Macron. Okay, we didn’t run into him more so I think he wanted to be invited to our picnic šŸ˜‰

I don’t talk politics but I did watch the election results with friends this Sunday at it was so interesting to watch. Macron spoke slowly enough that I could understand some of his speech. Just in case my friend Magali translated for me. I am incredibly lucky to have good friends here in Paris and I have made time to spend with them over the weeks while I have been here.

The weather was pretty darn awful all weekend including the Monday holiday which made me a little nervous about today. Luckily it warmed up around noon and we had blue skies and sunshine the whole time!

Tomorrow I head to London to visit my friend Jennifer. I have been to London a few times but I have only seen the touristy things. I am ready to fall in love with the city and she is the perfect tour guide. She is picking me up at the train station and for the first time in weeks I have no agenda or know where I am going she is in charge.

I have been doing a lot of observing and reflecting on my time in Paris. I can’t wait to share more of those thoughts soon. Thank you so much for joining me!

P.S. If you are in NYC please comment below with your email I have something exciting to fill you in on! or feel free to email me at [email protected] I am coming to NYC!!
