This week I finished the first book club book "All the Light We Cannot See" and immediately picked up "The Nightingale" by recommendation by some of my readers. Both books were beautiful stories that left me in tears, stay tuned on more about them in an upcoming post.
I am working on changing a few things up in my current apartment this August which includes painting. I had not idea there were so many shades of white... Has anyone else run into this problem? I went in with one plan and the man at the store told me not to use my initial color. The color I ended up with was "too blue" yes this can happen with whites. So now I am back to square one and another gallon of white paint. It was a busy week so my painters tape stayed up and my apartment felt like a construction zone. I am hoping to have finished early this week. The fun part begins with the gallery wall. This one will be a focal point. I am planning on a whole black and white Paris theme for behind my couch with black frames.
