Reader Roundup Self Care Sunday

self care Sunday mask roundup everyday parisian

Last Sunday, I had a lot of people wrote in that they were participating in Self Care Sunday. This was the first time I heard of this, but I loved the idea! I decided to do my first ever Reader Roundup because there were so many people that shared their favorite Face Masks.

I reached out to Sisley Paris because they are one of my favorites and they are gifting a few samples of their Hair Rituel products and their Black Rose mask to one lucky reader that wrote in this week. I hope this encourages you to share more as we continue these roundups! Just to give you an idea of how good this Hair Rituel products are, I skipped my last two haircuts. That covers the cost of the mask right there!

xizws says she can’t live without the Eye Contour Mask by Sisley and her favorite mask is the AHA 30% Peeling Solution by the Ordinary

SK-II facial treatment masks! Worth every penny. Rosana L

Laura G. Fresh has a Black Rose Mask that is really good!

The Black Tea Mask by Fresh and the Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Mask was recommended by Anouk L

Caudalie Instant Detox Mask by Megan D.

Just about anything by Peter Thomas Roth. My 2 favorites are Rose Stem Cell and 24K gold mask. When I travel I take Cucumber gel mask and Blue Marine Algae because dry skin is an issue. Gail H.

S.Kleckner recommends the Black Charcoal Mask from Origins. This one has crazy good reviews!

For under $10. Carrie H swears by Aveeno Positively Radiant in Shower Masque.

“I love the Farmacy Beauty honey potion renewing hydration mask! It warms up on your face, which I love, and the application it come with makes it really easy to apply and not messy. Also, my skin just glows afterwards.” Christina B.

I have personally heard great things about the Herbivore mask. I know someone mentioned them but I can’t find your comment! The Pink Clay Exfoliating Mask .

There were a few people that asked for masks for flying. I always wear them and I have a few favorites. The Sisley Express Flower Gel Mask and Black Rose Mask are great. I love the Caudalie moisturizing mask too! For under my eyes, I always wear the Sisley Eye Mask. I have owned the same tube for over a year. A little goes a long way and it really helps keep the puffiness down. I have heard great things about the Jetlag Mask by Summer Fridays. Has anyone tried it?

I picked up this sheet mask by Filorga at a Pharmacie in Paris. It is actually cheaper on this site than what I paid! Does anyone have any favorite sheet masks?

A HUGE thank you to all those who participated in the first Reader Roundup. I hope you found something you liked from Francophile community. Feel free to comment below if we missed one that you love. Happy Self Care Sunday!

  1. A belated "thank you" for sharing the Caudalie discount opportunity about one month ago. The milk cleanser is heavenly! I purchased two other products which might be better suited to the winter months and I am saving up for two more — summer month "lighter" products. I can see simplifying my routine as a result of higher quality brands. And to compliment all this, today I will begin reading Mathilde Cathiard-Thomas’ book "The French Beauty Solution." Thanks again for the nudge!

    • My pleasure! I am so happy you like the products! Which products are on your wish list? I can’t wait to hear what you think of the book. I haven’t read it yet, but it is on my list!!

Thank you so much for your note!! xo

  2. I think you should do hair treatments/masks next! My hair always feels terrible while travelling from all the air conditioning, but some masks arenā€™t suitable for coloured hair. Iā€™ll definitely be trying some of these face masks!
