Celebrating Six Months Today

If you are in a new relationship you celebrate six months together and when you have babies you put an adorable sticker and take a photo and probably post it on social media. Well, this blog has become my baby over the last year so I am proud to say I have made it to the six month club! 

I have always been one to celebrate small milestones. My Grandmother used to send me half birthday cards up until she passed. I may be the oldest person I know who still celebrates half birthday’s but in my opinion, there is always a reason for cake.

I wanted to personally thank you all for following along and your sweet words of encouragement. I have a lot of exciting ideas and plans for this blog over the next year and I am so happy to have each and one of you here. 

At the end of this month, I will be hosting a meetup in Chicago. I am so excited to meet you all face to face and talk Paris and Chicago and of course the book of the month. My hope is that you will find a new friend with the same interests as you and maybe even find someone to practice your French.
