A Christmas Giveaway

If you were reading along with the book club, one of the most popular books this year was “The Perfume Collector” it sparked my interest in perfume more than ever. For years I wore a scent that was recently discontinued so it was perfect timing when Sisley introduced Izia. I am super sensitive to smells due to migraines so I am very picky when it comes to perfumes. I have fallen in love with Izia and it isn’t just me. Whenever I wear this perfume I get stopped and people ask what I am wearing. From the elevator, first dates, and most recently my Uber driver. The Uber driver couldn’t stop talking about my perfume and told me he wanted to get it for his wife for Christmas. He was even trying to count how many rides it would take to pay for a bottle. So sweet!!

I wanted to give a bottle of Izia (30 ml) to one of you as a Christmas gift! The winner will be announced on December 20th and will go to one reader (US based due to timing and shipping costs) You will have this wrapped and ready to go under your tree. I honestly hope you love it as much as I do. Keep it for yourself or give it to someone it is up to you.

HOW TO ENTER: Please comment below and tell my your FAVORITE post of this year. It can be anything from links I love, personal, you name it. Please provide your email and the city that you live in with your comment. One winner will be chosen at random on December 20th.

This is not a sponsored post but this does include affiliate links which helps fund my next trip to Paris in January!! xo

  1. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge of best beauty items.
I went to Paris last year and brought home Claudalie products.
I hope to return and purchase some of your recommendations.

  3. It’s hard to pick one but I think the post on books would be my favoirte. I loved L’appart, so witty and eye opening (haven’t tried the recipes het). I love the fact that you try to put a little Paris in your every day life so that’s why it’s hard to choose one post. Each post reflects that je ne sais quoi. I’m in Chicago periodically (my son has two acclaimed restaurants there) and I had hoped to see you the last time at the Mercantile place but my schedule and the timing didn’t work out. Maybe next time. In the meantime, profite bien with your time in Florida and with your nieces. And as the French say bonnes fêtes de fin d’année

  4. I loved a whole host of beauty posts you wrote this year, but gonna be honest here: it’s the holiday gift guides that came in most handy. I’ve been a slacker shopping this year and I stuck to the letter of your recommendations for my “tricky” friends and relatives. Thanks for keeping it real (and easy) with good gifting ideas for Christmas!

  5. Bonjour Rebecca!

I always look forward to stopping by Every Day Parisian. I think you personal post – In Real Life, I am not Perfect. It made me feel less alone during a difficult time in my own life journey. Thank you for being so open and honest as you share the French love.

  6. It is hard to pick one! My favorites are any of you sharing Francophile products – I. LOVE. THOSE! You’re doing such a great job with the blog, Rebecca! It’s so enjoyable to read and share with my fellow French loving friends!

  7. Hello! I thoroughly enjoyed your blog titled "25 Things You Don’t Know About Me"! I am fairly new to your channel, and I loved getting to know genuine and interesting facts about you. I especially loved the one with how carrots, cold mac, and cheese give you the hiccups, I’ve never heard that before! Your content is always very wholesome and fun, and that’s very rare nowdays. Thank you for all you do,

  8. This is a hard one, Rebecca, as I really enjoy your blog. It motivates me to live a better life and not get lazy about making things happen for myself. It is a vacation moment to stop by here. I guess a favorite post was back in January this year when you started the book club; it has had a lasting effect on me for the whole year and increased my reading habit! I much appreciate you!

  9. Ohhh shame I don’t qualify for the giveaway as I live in Uk but I can say how much I enjoy your blog. Only joined recently after a wonderful visit to Paris (my first visit in years!!) I probably love the place as much as you . I adored your recent shots of a Parisian wedding.Somerset uk

  10. I’ve only just begun to delve into your blog, but have so enjoyed what I’ve discovered so far. If I had to choose a favorite, to date it would be one of your reading lists or maybe your favorite Pajamas.
Thanks so much and have a Merry Christmas!

  11. It’s so hard to choose! I always really enjoy your daily posts while you are in Paris – in a way I feel like I’m living vicariously through you!

    Merry Christmas Rebecca!

    Love,
    Maggie (St. Louis MO)

  12. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I was thrilled to see your copycat recipe for hot chocolate from Angelina! I literally dream about their hot chocolate. I’m lucky enough to have a friend who goes to Paris frequently for work and always brings me back either a bottle or the powder, but I’m so happy to have this recipe stashed away for the winter in case I run out! Plus, the powder just isn’t the same compared to a fresh, piping hot cup.

    Happy holidays and safe travels!

  13. Love your blog so much! Paris has always been a huge love of mine, but people never understood why since I had never been. And maybe I couldn’t explain it either! But I was finally able to go this past September for our honeymoon & it was everything I had ever dreamed of, and more! Your blog posts helped me so much when I was just dreaming about Paris, or when I was actually starting to plan our trip! Your "My Paris Agenda" helped us plan our to-do’s and gave us great ideas on what to do while we were out there! We ended up taking a Macaron class with La Cuisine thanks to that blog post & it was one of the highlights of our trip!! Thanks for aiding in my love of Paris!

  14. I absolutely adore your blog! I love love love all things Paris, but I also love the personal posts too. I’m a single 36 year old woman in Los Angeles, and so many times find myself thinking, yes! me too! I loved the post, "In Real Life I Am Not Perfect" and I love so many of the travel guides, the favorite things, just about everything!

I’m loving the description of this perfume. I’ve been hoping to find a second perfume to add to my beauty routine. Right now I have one that smells amazing on, which I’ve used for years. I’d like to add a classic French scent to my options.

Thank you for the giveaway!! Happy holidays!

  15. After reading about your meetup at Margeaux, I made a point of taking my daughter there when I visited her in Chicago in October. We had such a lovely experience. I wish I had been in town at the time of your meet up. So I will say that was my favorite post, although truly I love them all. I also sent Katie the link to the One of a Kind market and she tells me it was great too! Thank you and happy holidays with your family!

  16. I really like your cheese puffs recipe!! I love that it uses Gruyere cheese and not the typical cheddar cheese. I also like your French girl beauty secrets post. I would love to try this perfume because you’ve posted about it several times!! I also really like your brioche bread recipe, but that was from 2016 🙂 Happy holidays!!

  17. I have been enjoying your blog for awhile,I too am in love with Paris and all things French. I live in a development that resembles Provence unfortunately not near you, so I haven’t been able to attend one of your get-togethers in Chicago. Maybe some day! The blogs I love the most are the ones naming books to read and have read most of your recommendations. Thanks for boosting my Parisian spirit, keep it up!

  18. I am new to your blog site, so the the one I have liked the most, thus far, is your one year anniversary post. But more importantly, I LOVE the images of Pais you have created!

  19. I really loved your personal post from February 13 of this year, about Happy Ever After. It was my favorite because I relate a lot to the post and am in the same place in life. I read your blog from Chicago and hope to make it to the next meet up at Vosges!

  20. I have really enjoyed your posts on books, specifically for the book club! I stumbled upon your blog halfway through the year, so I wasn’t able to be part of your bookclub the whole time. However, as someone who had already read half the books you selected, it wasn’t hard to catch up. I was thrilled to find suggestions for books similar to ones that I had already been enjoying. I’m excited to see next year’s selections! Thank you so much for putting this bookclub together!

  21. Hi, I just found your site last week and I am loving reading all about French style. I love your recipes and the weekly links.
    Have a wonderful Christmas 🌲

  22. What a sweet gift!! I loved your post from
January on how to keep your skin hydrated in the winter. I live in Casper WY and my skin gets SO dry in the winter. I need great products to keep my skin hydrated!

Love getting lost in your Parisian posts. I recently discovered my grandmother was born in Paris (I never met/knew her) and I felt like I found a piece of my puzzle I was missing. I have always been so drawn to French culture and it’s so amazing to know it’s just IN me!

  23. I just discovered your blog a few months ago, but I went back and read a bunch of your archives. I especially like "About Me"-type posts (most recently, "23 Things You May Not Know About Me"). Keep up the good work!

  24. I mentioned on a previous post you made that I loved the picture of the fountain at Luxembourg Gardens. When we were last in Paris, we stayed in a hotel on Rive Gauche. We found ourselves drawn to go there several times. We stopped on the way at Dalloyau for espresso and pastries. Yum! We also located Gertrude Stein’s famous studio on rue de Fleurus. Great memories!

  25. Bonjour! I love your book recommendations, as well as your “links I love” series. I have never been to France but am a loyal user of French skin care products (a friend of mine recently went to France and I gave her a list of things to bring back for me). My email address is [email protected] and I live in Los Angeles.

  26. My favorite post was the one on finding a perfect croissant. I take my two daughters to Europe every summer and we always sample things, from our favorite chocolates in Switzerland (hands down Laderach) to our favorite macaron in Paris (giant dark chocolate at Carette) and so on, all things we are thrilled to judge. Croissants have been on our list and now we’ll check out your faves on our next trip. It’s a great way to make the travel even more fantastic and I keep a travel journal which I survey everyone in each night, from funniest moment of the day, to best macaron eaten so far and so on. Reading them from years past conjures the adventures so happily. So all that to say we really loved the croissant post! We tend to go for sweet, chewy inside, soft, maybe a tad on the underbaked side. We are enjoying your posts from the Nation’s Capitol in Washington D.C. Thank you for bringing beauty to all of us ❤️

  27. I am a recent follower and am making my way through your Blog posts. I am inspired by the great leap and dream of a day where living in Paris is a reality, so thank you for the gorgeous constant reminders through your photos. I love your book club posts as well as the post regarding traveling alone, as that is what I’m preparing to do myself. I am a fellow Chicagoan trying to give Seattle a chance 🙂 -Jennifer Pentecost – [email protected]

  28. I find your blog to be a refreshing American-Parisian whiff of all things French. The book club link is one of my favorites. Just finished L’Appart by D. Lebowitz . . . A modern take on Peter Mayle’s Une Annee en Provence. This fan is from Eugene, OR . . . [email protected]. Joyeux Noel et une tres Bonne Annee!

  29. I love all of the French and book-themed posts (two of my favorite things!) but the post that has spoken to me the most is “9 Years Ago This Week I Lost My Job.” It really makes me want to work on my photography skills again! Bonjour from Seattle and my email is [email protected]. Thank you for this giveaway and Happy Holidays! <3

  30. My favorite posts are when you talk about the books. I love Paris and when you recommend a book, and I read it, it takes me to my favorite city. Thank you for that. I live in tiny Hudson,NH and it has been too long since my last trip to the City of Lights. Hélas.
Keep bringing Paris to me and those who follow you!

  31. Thanks Rebecca! I like to tune into your Links I Love series. You always find such cool articles that give insight into the Paris local scene. They are links I would never find on my own, it’s really nice to look forward to having a weekly Paris click session 🙂 I really like the links that explore the language. I always love practicing my French in Paris but I know I have a long, long way to go to become fluent and not sound like French Textbook 101…lol.

Joyeux Noel to you and yours!

  32. I cannot remember the title of the post, but when you wrote about packing your things into storage, taking the leap and moving to Paris for a few months…it was such a dream I’ve always had and almost just as good to read about someone “real,” really doing it. I’ve visited several times, but it’s your blog that pushed me out of my comfort zone to stay somewhere different for my upcoming March trip. Instead of staying conveniently in the middle of the city again, we’ve decided to stay in our favorite part to visit – Montmartre – and get to know the area better, after the majority of tourists have gone back to the city for the night. Your blog has been instrumental in our planning, in so many ways!!

  33. Rebecca, I have loved every post you have written; I can’t pick one. Last December 2016 I found and bought your Christmas in Paris photography. I had to find out more about you. I was happy and blessed to find your blog. I have learned so much from you this past year. I can’t wait to learn more in 2018.

  34. I enjoy the weekly Links I Love because you always find things I missed. I did appreciate the post where you admitted to struggling with your dad not accepting your decisions in life. Tough stuff for sure, but I hope you got enough feedback that it felt validating and positive. I admire the life you’ve created.

    I live in beautiful Seattle.

    Merry Christmas,
    Marsi

  35. Wedding in Paris stands out in my mind. It was wonderful to see a totally different style of photos from you, you definitely went outside your normal box! I love the black-and-white photos of them at the café, and the color photos of that beautiful dress she wore. However reading this post, how you are sensitive to smells due to migraines, this may be a favorite 😉… We have something else in common besides our love of Paris. I too suffer from horrible migraines. I’m lucky that sense don’t bother me as much as some.
Wishing you a merry Christmas and happy new year! 2018 will bring all good things!
