Links I Love Week 43

Happy Halloween weekend! I am dressing up for the first time in years… and I am going as cat woman.

I am counting down the days until I am back in Paris in November. Speaking of countdowns…Christmas around the corner. Each year, I write an advent calendar post which is always a hit. These sell out fast so if you are interested in counting down to Christmas this year from chocolate, tea, and beauty. You can check out his post here.

The Rise of the Getting Real Post on Instagram. I have been on Instagram since 2013 and I have seen it evolve over time. This makes me think there is hope for Instagram and it isn’t all pretty pictures and a comparison game. I have had a love-hate relationship with the app. This was one of my favorite reads this week.

Cedric Grolet is opening his bakery near Opèra on November 18. I will miss the opening by just a few days. If you are in Paris from this date on, I highly recommend stopping by.

Earlier this year, I bought a subscription to Skillshare where you can learn to do so many things through video content. The possibilities are endless. I have 2 months FREE to offer to readers. I recommend starting with Style with Emily Henderson.

Where to Eat Near the Eiffel Tower ( I am always stumped by this one) I prefer less touristy spots. Bookmark this for your next trip.

Ann Mah’s “The Lost Vintage” is on sale $1.99 on Amazon. It is a great read. I loved it.

I have collected images from customers over the year and put together this post of my favorite images of my work in people’s homes.

I love this cocktail stacking ring. I received my first Monica Vinader piece for my birthday earlier this year.

    • I am sorry! I hope you make it back soon. I always love using metro tickets for bookmarks and reminders of Paris in other ways. I hope they bring back good memories

  1. Thank you for the link on Paris transportation changes. I have to say that I’ll miss those little paper metro tickets. I just found one in my blazer pocket yesterday, creased and worn from dry-cleaning, but it made me so happy.

    • Hi Trinity,

Your welcome! I will miss the metro tickets too. I have so many I have saved over the years. I love finding them in my pockets of jackets and purses. I keep a few for this reason.
