My books were the first things to be unpacked in the new place. There were boxes of them! In my old place, there just wasn’t room for them all. I tucked them away all over the apartment, on my coffee table, nightstand, entry table, I even had an empty bench full of them. It may sound silly, but my books have brought me comfort over the years. On quiet, lonely nights they kept me company, and being reunited feels like I am seeing my long lost friends. Now, they are all in one spot which not only makes me happy but reminds me of a few books that have been on my list that I forgot I owned.
I always think it is good to have a few books on hand for when you finish one, you have a new one to grab.
The bookshelf was here when I moved in, but I found one very similar here. Also below are a few other options depending on your space and budget.
Standout books from this shelf include: The Paris Wife, Sarah’s Key, and The Paris Apartment.
The Nightingale and All the Light We Cannot See have been favorites for years and I have been in a book hangover ever since.
