My Summer Schedule

This year seems to be flying by and I can’t believe it is already Summer! For those who are new around here, I have a few Summer shows that I participate in that are in Chicago.

My favorite one is Wells Street and it kicks off the Summer on June 10 – 11. This festival is very close to where I live and I walk Wells Street just about every day. I love being able to support my local community and meet my neighbors.

Quickly after Wells Street I will head to NYC for the LadurĆ©e event with Kristen Beddard, Amy Thomas, Angie Niles, and Ann Mah. If you haven’t signed up please email me at [email protected] so I can put your name on the list.

After NYC I head home for about a week and then I am headed for a family vacation to Portugal. There will be 8 of us total including two little kids. This is very different from my solo travel days so there will be a lot of patience involved but also a lot of fun. My niece is almost 4 and she is at such a great age to explore. My brother in law and I have been doing a lot of research and planning but if you have tips on Porto or Libson please send them my way.

After Portugal, I will be back in Chicago to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the blog!

I have two other festivals in the Summer. The Southport Art Festival on July 15-16 and The Artfest on Michigan Ave on July 21 -23. As of now, I have no travel plans for August but you never know!

I will be back in Paris in September to shoot a special project.

I would love to meet you all who are traveling to or live in Chicago. Don’t be a stranger. Stop by and say hello!

  1. The end of summer or in the fall would be great to meet and talk books! Enjoy your summer travels.

  2. Love your blog and missed your book club at POSH in March as I was out of town. Are you planning on another one in the future in Chicago? Your trip to Paris sounded divine. Keep up the book recommendations and your adventurous spirit. Donna D.

    • Hi Donna,

Thank you! I would love to have another event in Chicago. Perhaps towards the end of Summer or maybe Bastille Day? Is the Summer or Fall better?

      More books coming soon!
