My Summer Uniform

I ordered these jean shorts from JCrew a few years ago and I just started wearing them towards the end of last year. I wear/wash/repeat for these jean shorts more than anything else in my closet right now. There are a few other similar options from Madewell and JCrew Factory.

I wear these Madewell t-shirts on repeat. They are 3 for $45 and wash and wear well. They are thin so perfect for Summer weather.

I love a good Summer dress and I used to have a dress closet years ago. I don’t wear jeans except for white jeans that often during the Summer and dresses are just easier to throw on and go. These two (from Everlane and Other Stories) have been my favorites so far this Summer. You can wear sandals, espadrilles or sneakers with them.

My Madewell sneakers are something I wear just about every day for my walks around the neighborhood. They were my favorite walking shoe for Paris for my long walks and now I use them to get some fresh air and exercise in quarantine. Make sure you wear these no show socks with them to prevent blisters.

I get dressed for my Zoom dance class first thing around 6:30 am so if the house is chilly, I will throw on this sweatshirt. I own it in two colors and alternate the two depending on which one is clean.

Lipgloss/Lipstick If I am going out to social distance with friends or even on the back porch, my outfit isn’t complete without a fun gloss as I scoot out the door. I have been using Sisley lip gloss for a few years now which is fun to wear as a single coat or on top of a color. They just introduced a new formula that keeps your lips hydrated and stays on for hours.

Mask Due to Covid19, my daily wardrobe out of the house includes a mask. I bought 6 of these from Everlane and I wash them and wear a new one every day. The original ones had fun stripes and different colors but these are now just offered in a solid black.

My Cuyana top zip tote goes everywhere with me when I travel or move out and about. It fits my laptop, books, and so much more. I am traveling lighter these days due to Covid19 so my Madewell tote is an option that I am also carrying around too which is lighter and easier. I have moved pretty much away from a wallet unless I need my license or insurance card and pay almost completely with Apple Pay when I am out.

If I am going out and about at night, I love my Madewell jean jacket. I bought it last year before traveling in the Summer and I wore it all the time. It has pockets so you can fit little things inside if you don’t want to bring a bag. It is perfect to throw over a dress to keep warm
