Paris: Hôtel de Sers

Located just steps from the Champs-Elysées you will find the Hôtel de Sers, a five-star address ready to greet you. The hotel consists of just 45 rooms and 7 suites on just four floors. You can tell the personalized service when you walk in the door as the staff greets you and knows you by name. In 2004, the hotel went under a renovation but kept the integrity and history of the building. You will find these details with the staircase and chandeliers. There is also a grand salon that has been fully restored.

My room was complete with a shower/tub combination with the most amazing rain shower. You had the best of both worlds. There was even a tiny window overlooking the courtyard from the tub. 

My room was complete with the most adorable terrace. In true Parisian fashion it rained so I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I had hoped. But you can see the view from the bed is one to enjoy for sure. 

I left the windows open for a bit and watched the rain fall which was beautiful and so calming after a busy day out exploring Paris. After peeling myself out of the super comfortable bed I knew that breakfast was waiting for me downstairs. The open atrium feels so bright and full of life you would have no idea it was grey and rainy outside.

After a full belly of croissants and a coffee, I was off to explore Paris in the rain. How can you beat a location that is surrounded by these beautiful Parisian streets?
