Happy Sunday from Chicago! It is day 2 of Wells Street Art Festival. The weather held out on Saturday and I was able to see new and old blog readers. It was so fun to meet you all face to face. A big thanks to Kat, Ashley, and Lynn who stepped in yesterday to get their hands dirty and help at Wells Street. I couldn’t have made yesterday a success without you three girls. I will be at Wells Street (1311 N Wells) until 6 pm today rain or shine. P.S. Next Sundays links will be brought to you from the South of France. If you only knew how excited I am for coffee and croissants on the beach in Nice.
I need to own this dress in red. I just need to find an occasion to wear it this Summer.
If you are looking for French Brands available in the US, I wrote this post a while back. I just discovered Simone Perele is available at Nordstrom.
Uber Black now allows you to request a quiet ride. I love this because I can’t tell you how many times I have gotten into long conversations with an Uber driver especially early morning on the way to the airport.
Eat your Way through Chicago. My first article for Finnair Magazine Blue Wings
I will be in Italy and France for two weeks starting on Tuesday and I cannot wait. I will share more details on this trip in an upcoming post. I did order this SIM card which I have had great luck with for $50 from Amazon. I have Verizon and at $10 a day for service, this works out to be a much better deal. I will have full data access so I can work on the road.
This one is too funny. So many are true. An Encyclopedia of Exes. Which one do you most relate to?
I just ordered “The Idea of You” based on Grace from The Stripe rave review on the book. I have been in a reading rut and I honestly need something that isn’t WWII related. I hope to read this while I am on the train from Italy to France next week.
Pastis Reopens in NYC. I just saw the episode of SATC where it was featured. It looks like it was taken right out of Paris
