Yesterday, I celebrated the blog’s two year anniversary. I can’t believe it has been two years. It seemed like one big crazy idea that actually came to life bigger and better than I imagined. You can read all about it here. I spent the evening celebrating in Chicago with friends that I have met through the instagram/blogging world.

I was the guest of honor last night at Cité for dinner with Chef Oscar. It was so much fun to celebrate overlooking the city of Chicago and we even got the best view in the city for fireworks. I am so grateful for such a wonderful opportunity and we had a delicious meal. I am still dreaming about the lobster risotto. I ended up wearing this navy dress which was perfect for the chilly evening.

A friend of mine from Dance Class gave me this book after discussing favorite reads. Have you read, “Beneath a Scarlet Sky”

Sézane has a new Journal format. A girl from the US moved to Paris. It is fun to read her adventures. I hope you enjoy it too!

I was inspired by my friend Rhita in Paris for a pair of these cute espadrilles. I found a pair that I loved and they are under $100. I will be in them all Summer long. I pulled them out of the box and took them out on the town right away.

For the Fourth of July, I did a fun survey on Instagram about which red lipstick I should wear. While a lot of people said this red, some people wrote in telling me their favorite red was one I wore back in Paris in April. It may be my favorite red and one I need to wear more often. How do you feel about color on your lips?

Is it possible to have too many pinks sweaters? I am already looking at my Fall Clothes and knowing I need a refresh.

I am now an INSIDR Partner. I love using this service when I travel to France. Not only do they offer a phone that keeps you connected while traveling in Europe, you have a personal contact at your fingertips to answer all your questions on where to eat, drink, shop and explore!

Nespresso is discontinuing some of my favorite flavors on July 18. It seems not everyone got this notice but I am happy to share. I stocked up well!

In case you missed my café chat with Corey Frye. I am trying to upload this to Instagram TV but no luck yet.

I love supporting small businesses just like me, this one is extra special because the girl is in College. She is creative and extremely talented. I am so proud to know her and I can’t wait to see how far she goes. You can support her here by purchasing her granola. You have to try the rosemary one! This would go really great on yogurt.

Paris to Roll out Smoking Ban in Public Parks

My friend Karyn is offering a retreat in Provence this September. If you are looking for yoga, meditation and personal growth this is for you. There are just two spots left so grab them before they are gone!

As France Burned, I just recently watched Suite Francaise Has anyone seen it yet?

My glowing no makeup look is all due to this product that gives my dry skin instant hydration! I finished my first bottle and almost cried this morning when I realized it was finished. I wasn’t prepared with a backup!

In Case You Missed It

My first recipe in French! I am so proud of this one. I worked with Caroline, my French teacher on this one. I have more coming soon.
